With the Scheppach Plana 6.1c Planer/Thicknesser you can achieve perfect results every time. It features rubberised feed rollers that are gentle on the workpiece, protecting the finished product from the beginning. The workstation is constantly on one side of the machine meaning the unit takes up less space in your workshop, leaving more space for other essential equipment. The cast iron table is strong and sturdy, providing a reliable surface for planing, and it can be adjusted accurately for precise results. The powerful 3200W & 3600W motors provide consistent and repeatable results time after time - even in hard wood and the weight of 334kg ensures that the machine has a safe & low vibration level. The Plana 6.1c gives the user the option of rapidly changing between planing and thicknessing functions thanks to a simultaneous spring-assisted lifting table. This means you can spend less time alternating between functions and more time maximising your work output. The maximum surface planing width is 410mm with a depth of 3mm. The clearance height and width for thicknessing is 230/408mm with a maximum depth of 5mm, the machine runs a feed rate of 7m/m. There is also a handy 100mm suction outlet nozzle for dust extraction purposes.
