This professional headshield has the added benefit of being powered by the energy of the welding arc or when the arc is not striking, from an internal lithium battery. It provides eye protection to EN397. The arc activated feature provides a clear view when not welding and instantly changes to the required shade or filter when the arc is struck while the adjustable headband leaves both hands free for working.
